Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas is Bible Verses.
Christmas is a such an important holiday because we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Yes, we don't know what day He was really born, but if we celebrate our birthdays, then we should celebrate our Savior's birthday even more. Below are 5 bible verses that talk about the importance of Jesus' birth. I also included some Bible Plans from YouVersion that I'm currently reading in case you would like to check it out as well.
Bible Verses
"But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, 'Abba, Father.' Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir."
Galatians 4:4-7 (NLT)
"For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6 (NLT)
"but the angel reassured them. 'Don’t be afraid!' he said. 'I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.'"
Luke 2:10-12 (NLT)
"And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:21 (NLT)
"Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means 'God is with us.'"
Matthew 1:23 (NLT)
