Katelyn's sister shared part of Katelyn's story: “Katelyn, my fifteen year old sister, can’t see how beautiful she is and is struggling with her identity. Katelyn, my mom and I escaped a domestic violence situation earlier this year. Since then, the healing process has been really rough on all of us, but it’s hit Katelyn in a way my mom and I don’t understand. I think it goes back to her not knowing her identity. I feel like seeing that people from all over can relate to feeling insecure or having moments of hurt will help her in becoming a little more at peace with herself. I want Katelyn to feel confident in the fact that’s she’s loved and has worth.”
